BUNK'ART is a historical art center residing within a former anti-nuclear bunker on the outskirts of Tirana, Albania. Constructed during the communist era, the five-story underground bunker offers a glimpse into Albania's isolated past and the daily lives of Albanians under the regime of Enver Hoxha.

Public Transport
To reach BUNK'ART from Tirana's city center, head to the main bus stop near Skanderbeg Square, close to the Et'hem Bey Mosque. Take the blue 'Porcelan' bus. A bus ticket costs 40 Lek (€0.30). Get off at the 'Dajti Ekspres' bus station, which is also the last stop. From there, follow the signposted route to BUNK'ART, a short 2-minute walk.
Taxi
A taxi ride from the city center to BUNK'ART typically costs between 700-1000 Lek (€5-€9). The journey takes approximately 15-25 minutes depending on traffic. It's advisable to negotiate a fixed price with the driver or ensure the meter is running.
Driving
If driving, BUNK'ART is located on the outskirts of Tirana, near the Dajti Ekspres cable car. Parking is available near the entrance. Be aware that the tunnel leading to the parking area has limited height. Parking attendants may ask for a small fee.
