Getting There

From the center of Pogradec, head east towards the lake. Walk along the lakeside promenade, which is a beautiful path lined with trees and benches. Continue walking along the promenade for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the end of the promenade. You will see signs pointing towards Ohrid, which is just across the border in North Macedonia. The walk will take you approximately 20-25 minutes.

From the main bus station in Pogradec, take a bus heading towards Ohrid. Buses run frequently throughout the day, and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Make sure to buy a ticket from the kiosk before boarding. Once you arrive at the Ohrid bus station, you can easily walk to the city center, which is about a 15-minute walk from the station.
