Lazaris Distillery & Artisan Sweets invites you to explore the unique flavors of Corfu through its handcrafted products. Founded in 2005 by Konstantinos Lazaris, the distillery is inspired by the kumquat fruit, which has become a symbol of the island since its introduction in the 1960s. Lazaris and his team passionately continue the island's culinary history, producing a range of liqueurs and sweets using traditional Ionian recipes.The distillery's most famous product is the traditional kumquat liqueur, made according to a local recipe certified with Protected Geographical Indication (P.G.I). They also produce Limoncello, Ouzo, and creamy versions of both kumquat and limoncello liqueurs. Visitors can also find a variety of kumquat-based products such as marmalade, spoon sweets, and chutney, as well as other Corfiot delicacies like nougat, mandola, loukoumi, and fig pie.At the Lazaris factory shop, visitors can browse and taste the different products, and even observe the production process behind a glass wall. The distillery prides itself on using pure, raw materials without chemical preservatives, ensuring high-quality and authentic flavors.
