Walking
From the center of Tepelena, start at the main square (Sheshi i Tepelenës). Head southeast on Rruga Ali Pashe Tepelena, which is the main road. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by several local shops and cafes on your left. Keep an eye out for the sign for Tepelena Internment Camp, which will be on your right. The entrance is marked with a small plaque detailing its history. The walk is about 20 minutes.
Public Transport
From the central bus station in Tepelena, take a local bus that travels along Rruga Ali Pashe Tepelena. Ask the driver to drop you off near the Tepelena Internment Camp, which is a well-known landmark. The bus fare is typically around 50-100 Albanian Lek. After getting off, walk approximately 200 meters to the east to reach the camp.
Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Tepelena. Head southeast on Rruga Ali Pashe Tepelena towards the coordinates 72X8+X6X (40.299997, 20.015598699999998). The drive should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. Follow the main road until you reach the location, which is marked as a historical landmark. There is free parking available nearby.
