To reach Maja e Dajtit from Tirana city center, take the public bus to Porcelan from outside the clock tower. The bus fare is approximately 40 lekë. From Porcelan, you can walk 1.5 km uphill or take a free bus transfer that departs every 30 minutes. This will take you to the Dajti Ekspres cable car. A round-trip ticket on the Dajti Ekspres costs 1,400 Albanian lek per adult.

A taxi from Tirana's city center to the Dajti Ekspres cable car will cost between 700 and 1000 leke (6-8 euros). You can also negotiate a fixed price before you get into the taxi. Dajti Ekspress has a negotiated rate with Merr Taxi, which charges 650 leke (5.30 euros) for a one way trip from the city center of Tirana. From the cable car, take the Dajti Ekspres cable car to the top of Dajti Mountain. A round-trip ticket on the Dajti Ekspres costs 1,400 Albanian lek per adult.

From the Dajti Ekspres cable car top station, follow the marked trail that leads towards Maja e Dajtit. The hike is relatively moderate and should take about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to stay on the marked paths and enjoy the natural beauty of the park as you ascend. The path is well-maintained but can be rocky in certain sections, so appropriate footwear is recommended.
