Getting There

    If you are traveling by car from the city center of Vlora, head south on Rruga Ismail Qemali towards the southern part of the city. After approximately 2 km, you will reach the intersection with Rruga Vlorë - Kaninë. Turn right onto this road and continue for another 5 km. Follow the signs for Kanina. As you approach Kanina, you will see the castle on your left. There is a small parking area near the entrance where you can leave your car.

    To reach Kanina Castle using public transportation, head to the main bus station in Vlora. Look for buses heading to Kaninë or nearby villages. The bus ride takes about 20-30 minutes and costs approximately 100-200 Albanian Lek (1-2 USD). Once you arrive in Kaninë, the castle is a short 10-minute walk uphill from the bus stop. Follow the main road that leads up to the castle, and you will see it ahead.
