Flag's Square, or Sheshi i Flamurit, serves as the main plaza in Vlorë, Albania, holding deep historical and cultural importance. It commemorates the Albanian Declaration of Independence, proclaimed on November 28, 1912, making Vlorë the first capital of independent Albania.The square's focal point is the Independence Monument, a bronze sculpture erected in 1972 to mark the 60th anniversary of this pivotal event.
