Pic des Singes, or Monkey Peak, is a mountain peak in northern Algeria near Béjaïa, offering panoramic views and a chance to see Barbary macaques in their natural habitat. The peak is located in the Cap Carbon area of the Tell Atlas range, along the Mediterranean coast.

Public Transport
From the central bus station (Gare Routière de Béjaïa), take a local bus towards Akbou. Inform the driver to stop at the nearest point to Pic des Singes. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. From the bus stop, walk towards the trailhead.
Walking
From the center of Béjaïa, head towards the Mediterranean waterfront. Walk along Rue de La Soummam until you reach the beach. Continue along the promenade to the intersection with Rue des Martyrs. Turn left onto Rue des Martyrs, which becomes Rue de l'Indépendance, leading towards the foothills of the Kabylie Mountains. Follow the marked hiking paths towards Pic des Singes from the trailhead. The hike typically takes 1-2 hours, depending on fitness level.
