Getting There

  • Driving

    From Algiers, take the A1 highway south towards Blida. Continue on the N1 towards Chrea. The drive takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Parking is available near the Chrea National Park entrance. Parking rates are around DZD 100-200 per hour, but can be limited during peak season.

  • Public Transport

    Take a bus from Algiers to Blida (approx. DZD 80-150). From Blida, local buses or taxis are available to Chrea. A bus from Blida to Chrea costs around DZD 200-400, while a taxi will cost approximately DZD 800-1200. The bus journey from Blida to Chrea takes around 1-1.5 hours.

  • Cable Car

    The Télécabine Blida-Chréa (cable car) connects Blida to Chrea. A ticket costs 50 DA. The ride is approximately 35 minutes and offers scenic views. The cable car operates from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, but is regularly suspended.
