Les Balcons d'Oran is more than just a viewpoint; it's a place to immerse yourself in the local culture, observe the bustling city below, and capture the essence of Oran.The balcons were built in 1949, offering nearly 2km of strolling space overlooking the sea. The project was initiated by Emile Cayla, inspired by Nice's Promenade des Anglais, aiming to connect the old city with the upper districts and showcase military lands. The construction involved filling ravines and building viaducts with deep foundations to reinforce the ground.
