Walking
From Place des Martyrs, a central landmark in Algiers, follow the signs towards Jardin d'Essai du Hamma (Botanical Garden). From there, you can take the cable car directly to the Martyrs Memorial. The walk to the Botanical Garden is approximately 20-30 minutes, offering a scenic route through the city. Cable car fare is around 20 DZD.
Public Transport
From Algiers Central Station (Gare d'Alger), take the Tram line T1 towards El Madania. Get off at the 'El Madania' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the Martyrs Memorial. Alternatively, take the Metro Line 1 to 'Place des Martyrs' station, then transfer to a bus heading towards El Madania. Tram and Metro fares are approximately 50 DZD each.
