Walking
From the main coast road between Faga'alu and Utulei, look for the sign next to the IBM Laundromat marking the path to the Blunts Point Trail. Park in the public parking lot on the harbor side, about 100 yards from the trailhead. Walk towards the trailhead and when the trail reaches the water tank, continue past it on the left. Follow the trail uphill to reach the gun batteries.
Public Transport
Catch a local bus from anywhere on Tutuila Island to the bus depot at Fagatogo. From there, take another bus heading towards the eastern end of the island, specifically towards Utulei. Ask the driver to drop you off near the IBM Laundromat, which is close to the Blunts Point Trail. Bus fares are around $2.50 per ride.
Taxi
Taxis are available from Pago Pago International Airport or the Pago Pago Market. Negotiate the fare before starting your trip. A taxi from the airport to Utulei is approximately $10-$15. From Utulei, follow the walking directions to the Blunts Point Trailhead.
