    From anywhere in Pago Pago, follow Route 1 towards the north-eastern side of Tutuila Island. Continue past Aua and all the way to Vatia village. Drive through the village, and past the last house on the paved road. The road will turn into a rough, unpaved road. Continue a short distance to the trailhead. There are no parking fees.
