Walking
Plaça de la Rotonda is centrally located in Andorra la Vella, making it easily accessible on foot from most points in the city center. From Avenida Meritxell, the main shopping street, simply walk towards the river. The square is situated alongside the Gran Valira river, near the Pont de París bridge.
Public Transport
Andorra la Vella has a comprehensive bus network. Several bus lines stop near Plaça de la Rotonda. Check local bus routes and schedules for the most convenient option. Since July 2022, the bus service has been largely free of charge, mainly for permanent users, i.e. primarily for Andorran residents.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Andorra la Vella. You can find taxi ranks along Avenida Meritxell or call for a taxi. A short taxi ride from anywhere in the city center to Plaça de la Rotonda will typically cost around €5-€10, with a minimum fare of €3. Taxi booking office call has an extra charge of €1.15 and each package, suitcase, set of skis or luggage 55 x 35 x 35 cm or larger has a charge of €0.70.
Driving
If driving, be aware that parking in Andorra la Vella can be limited. Paid parking is available in several car parks near Plaça de la Rotonda. Parking Saba Cèntric on Carrer Pau Casals is one option, with rates starting at €3.1 per hour. Street parking is also available in blue and green zones, costing €1 per hour and €0.5 per hour, respectively. Parking is free on Sundays and public holidays.
