Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Andorra la Vella, take the L4 bus to the Vall d'Incles stop (bus stop 163). The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes to Canillo. From Canillo, you can walk 4 km to Vall d'Incles or take a local taxi. The taxi fare ranges from €10 to €15. Bus fare is approximately €4, depending on the distance. Public transport in Andorra is largely free for residents.

  • Car

    From Andorra la Vella, take the CG-1 road north towards Canillo. Continue on CG-1 for approximately 12 km until the roundabout near Canillo. Take the second exit onto the CG-2 road towards Grandvalira. After about 2 km, follow the signs for Vall d'Incles to Ctra. de la Vall d'Incles. The drive takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Parking is available at the end of the Incles Valley road. During summer (mid-June to mid-September), vehicle access is restricted, and an electric bus operates from 9 am to 6 pm. Free parking is available.

  • Walking

    From Canillo, it is approximately a 4 km walk to Vall d'Incles. Follow the Ctra. de la Vall d'Incles. The walk takes approximately 1 hour. Be prepared for a slight incline.

Vall d'Incles, located between El Tarter and Canillo, is one of the most beautiful natural spots in the Pyrenees. Its U-shape reveals its glacial origins. The valley is easily accessible and offers a variety of activities, including hiking, picnicking, and wildlife spotting. The valley boasts diverse flora and fauna, with vibrant wildflowers in spring and fiery foliage in autumn. Keep an eye out for local wildlife, including deer and various bird species. Several hiking trails cater to all skill levels, from leisurely walks along the river to more challenging routes leading to alpine lakes such as Estany de Juclà and Estany de Cabana Sorda. For a gentle walk, try the Camí de l'Obac, a nearly flat path that follows the river. More challenging routes lead to the Siscaró lakes or the Incles Mountain Pass, which crosses into France. The valley is particularly popular in summer when vehicle access is restricted to preserve its tranquility. During this time, an electric bus provides transport through the valley.
