Mirador Roc Del Quer: A Viewpoint on the Edge

Perched high in the Andorran Pyrenees, the Mirador Roc Del Quer offers an unforgettable experience that blends natural beauty with architectural innovation. This viewpoint, located near Canillo, features a 20-meter walkway, with 12 meters suspended in the air, providing breathtaking panoramic views of the Montaup and Valira d'Orient valleys.Completed in July 2016, the platform offers unobstructed views from Soldeu to Encamp. Part of the walkway has transparent glass flooring, enhancing the sensation of height and suspension. At the end of the platform sits a sculpture of a pensive man by Argentinian artist Miguel Ángel González, inviting contemplation of the surrounding landscape.To reach the Mirador Roc del Quer, visitors can drive along the CS-240 road towards Coll d'Ordino, finding the viewpoint at kilometer 6.5. A large parking area is available, followed by a short 400-meter walk to the platform. Along the way, visitors will encounter "Self-generating Structures," a trio of totem poles created by Mexican sculptor Jorge Dubon in 1991, symbolizing humanity's resilience against the mountains' grandeur.The viewpoint is open from 10 AM to 6 PM.
