This private collection is considered one of the most important in the world.The museum is located in the historic Hostal Valira, an iconic building showcasing Andorran granite architecture. The granite blocks of the façade, laid in a honeycomb structure, are a distinctive mark of Andorran culture. The museum was nominated for the best European new museum in 2018 by UNESCO.The museum spans 500 square meters, with 250 square meters dedicated to exhibition space. The museum is fully wheelchair-accessible and incorporates interactive displays, audio guides, and a musical tour to enhance the visitor experience.Temporary exhibitions are held annually, ensuring that even frequent visitors can discover new works of art. These exhibitions often include collaborations with other museums worldwide, creating mixed exhibitions that offer diverse perspectives and enrich the cultural experience.
