Mirador Roc Del Quer

The Mirador Roc del Quer, or Roc del Quer Viewpoint, is an unmissable attraction in Andorra, offering a unique experience of being suspended in the Pyrenees. Located near Canillo, this observation deck provides panoramic views of the Montaup and Valira d'Orient valleys.The highlight of the Mirador Roc del Quer is its cantilevered platform, completed in 2016. The walkway extends 20 meters, with 12 meters suspended in the air, giving visitors the feeling of levitating above the valley floor, 500 meters below. Part of the platform features transparent glass flooring, enhancing the sensation of height and suspension.At the end of the platform, you'll find a sculpture by Argentinian artist Miguel Ángel González, known as "The Ponderer." The statue depicts a man sitting on a beam, seemingly lost in thought as he gazes over the landscape. Visitors often leave coins on the beam connecting the sculpture to the platform.The viewpoint is easily accessible and provides an unbeatable spot to appreciate the grandeur of Andorra. The surrounding scenery and geological formations are briefly described on-site, enriching the viewing experience. The site also features three totem poles at the entrance, created by Mexican sculptor and architect Jorge Dubon in 1991.
