Walking
From Encamp town center, locate the Grandvalira cable car station. Head towards the mountains, following signs for hiking trails, keeping an eye out for trail markers indicating 'Refugi del Pla de les Pedres'. The walk is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours with some elevation gain. No cost is involved.
Public Transport
Take a local bus from Encamp town center towards the Grau Roig area. Disembark at the Grau Roig bus stop. From there, follow the marked hiking trails to Refugi del Pla de les Pedres. The hike from the bus stop takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Bus fares are largely free for residents; otherwise, a short trip ticket should cost around €2-€3.
Car
Drive towards El Peretol; from there, continue on foot following the marked path. The walk is approximately 20 minutes with a 190-meter elevation gain. Parking availability at El Peretol may be limited. Parking costs are not available.
