Notably, the original semicircular apse was replaced with a quadrangular chancel in the early 20th century. The church also has a gabled bell tower with a Gothic bell.Inside, a reproduction of the Romanesque altar front is displayed. The original, a unique example of Romanesque wood painting in Andorra, is now housed in the National Art Museum of Catalonia in Barcelona. The altar front depicts the Maiestas Domini, flanked by the tetramorph and pairs of apostles, with the Assumption of Mary on the sides.Located on the hills above Encamp, reaching the church involves a scenic walk offering breathtaking views of the valley.
