    The final approach to Pic de la Serrera involves a challenging hike. From Canillo, take the road towards La Coma de Ransol. After the village, park where the asphalt ends and begin the trail alongside the Meners River. Follow the yellow markers, crossing the river and ascending towards the Meners de la Coma Lake. Continue to Collada dels Meners, an old iron site, and then the final climb to the peak. This final walking portion has no cost associated.

  • Public Transport

    To reach the trailhead near Ransol from Canillo, a local bus can be taken. From the bus stop in Canillo, a one-way ticket to Ransol costs approximately €1.80. From Ransol, follow the walking directions to the peak. Keep in mind that bus schedules may be limited, especially during off-season.

  • Taxi

    A taxi from Canillo to the road end at La Coma de Ransol, the starting point of the hike, is also an option. The taxi ride would cost approximately €35-€45. From there, follow the walking directions to the peak.

The path to Pic de la Serrera starts on the road to la Coma de Ransol, after the village of the same name, where you can leave your car. For safety, it's recommended to hike at altitudes above 1,700 meters between late June and late September. However, depending on weather and terrain conditions, the season may extend from May to October.
