Espai Benestar: A Tranquil Riverside Retreat

Espai Benestar, inaugurated in July 2021, is a thoughtfully designed leisure area nestled alongside the Valira River in the heart of Sant Julià de Lòria. Accessible from the Isidre Valls roundabout, this space provides over 1,000 square meters for visitors to unwind and connect with nature. The area features comfortable benches and a safety railing to prevent access to the river, making it a secure environment for all. The space is particularly appealing during hot weather, offering a cool, shady retreat. Espai Benestar is the result of an agreement between the Comú (local council) of Sant Julià and the Andorran government. This collaborative effort transformed the area into a welcoming space for both locals and tourists. While offering a tranquil environment, it's worth noting that construction is ongoing in the area as part of the Rocafort tunnel project, which may affect access. Despite this, Espai Benestar remains a valued spot for enjoying the natural beauty of Sant Julià de Lòria.
