Discover more about Tradition Sailing Charters Anguilla

Tradition Sailing Charters offers an authentic Caribbean sailing experience aboard a historic vessel. The 'Tradition' is a 42-foot Carriacou sloop, hand-built in 1978 on a beach in Carriacou, Grenada. This classic West Indian vessel offers a tangible connection to the region's maritime history. Originally a working ship, the 'Tradition' plied the trade winds, carrying cargo between Caribbean islands, including some less-than-legal goods from St. Barthélemy. Today, Tradition enjoys a semi-retirement in Anguilla, offering visitors a chance to experience the romance of a bygone era. As you feel the wooden deck beneath your feet, you are instantly transported to West Indian maritime days of old. Captain Laurie Gumbs and Deborah Vos, the owners, create a first-class experience, whether you're a seasoned sailor or a first-timer. Based out of Sandy Ground, Tradition Sailing Charters offers a range of excursions, including day sails to Prickly Pear and Little Bay, sunset cruises, and custom private charters. Enjoy gourmet appetizers, free-flowing champagne cocktails, and captivating stories of the Caribbean as you sail into the sunset.
