Discover more about Anguilla Arch

Anguilla Arch, located on the southwestern coast of Anguilla, is a captivating testament to the power and artistry of nature. This impressive natural arch has been sculpted from limestone cliffs by the relentless action of the sea, creating a unique and breathtaking landmark. Originally known as "The Church Door," the arch has evolved over time due to erosion, revealing the stunning formation that stands today. Visitors are drawn to Anguilla Arch for its panoramic views of the azure Caribbean Sea, where the vibrant blues contrast with the white sandy beaches. The arch itself is a sight to behold, with its yellow and red hues that pop against the surrounding terrain. The sound of waves crashing against the rocks adds to the serene atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and reflection. While the arch is a popular spot for photographers, it retains a sense of untouched beauty, allowing for an intimate experience with nature. The surrounding area offers opportunities for exploration, including nearby beaches and coastal paths. The changing light throughout the day creates dynamic landscapes, with sunrise and sunset being particularly magical times to visit. In 2023, the Anguilla Tourist Board announced a beautification project for the Arch, which included informational signage and a new guardrail. This project aimed to enhance the visitor experience while preserving the natural beauty of the site.
