Start your journey from the center of Saint John. Head northwest on Long Street towards the junction of the Sir George Walter Highway (also known as the A1 road). Merge onto the Sir George Walter Highway (A1) and follow it for approximately 10 minutes. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating Deep Bay Beach. Turn left onto Deep Bay Road and continue straight until you reach the entrance to Fort Barrington. Parking is available near the entrance, but please note that there may be a small parking fee.

From the center of Saint John, locate a bus terminal or bus stop that services routes towards Deep Bay. Board a bus that specifically indicates Deep Bay as its destination. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Inform the bus driver that you would like to get off at Deep Bay. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance along Deep Bay Road to reach the entrance of Fort Barrington. Keep some local currency ready, as there may be a fare of approximately 3-5 EC dollars (Eastern Caribbean dollars) for the bus ride.
