Was a shame that the day we went it was very cloudy windy and rainy but the beaches are beautiful regardless and the water was still warm. It’s only a short trip morning 1.6 hrs at each beach, nothing to do but swim and take in the views but I enjoyed it. Our guide Andrew was amazing even stopped on the way back to pick me a fresh mango off the trees 10/10

Our cruise ship also called at Antigua. We didn't have any plans there yet. On social media, an unknown person recommended Jannel Joseph. You could get her contact details via a private message. That is how I got in touch with Jannel. I asked her if she would be willing to show us (87 and 64 years old) the highlights of Antigua in a few hours. She was happy to do so; her rate was very reasonable. At the agreed time, she picked us up at the cruise ship. We had a wonderful day and received a lot of information. When she heard that we were interested in horticulture, she also stopped by a stall with unique products that were grown locally. For example, we saw how cashew nuts grow. Jannel spoke clear English and was friendly and helpful. After a number of disappointing and expensive excursions via Get Your Guide, this was a breath of fresh air!
