From St. John's, catch a local bus heading towards the southern coast. Buses depart from the central bus terminal. Inform the driver you wish to go to Lignum Vitae Bay. The fare is about $2-3 EC (Eastern Caribbean dollars). The bus will drop you off near Lignum Vitae Bay after about 30 minutes, followed by a short 5-minute walk to the beach.

Taxis are readily available in St. John's and can be arranged through your hotel. A taxi directly to Lignum Vitae Bay from St. John's will cost approximately $20-30 EC, depending on your starting point. The ride takes about 15 minutes, and the taxi will drop you off right at the entrance.

From St. John's, head south on Sir George Walter Highway. Continue for 15-20 minutes until you see signs for Lignum Vitae Bay. Turn right onto the smaller road leading to the beach. Parking is available near the entrance. Note that paid parking is available, but spaces are limited. Street parking can be found nearby.
