Car
From Cerro Tronador, head southeast on Route 40. Continue for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 83. Turn left onto Route 83 and follow it for about 10 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs pointing to 'Cerro Challhuaco.' After about 5 kilometers, you will reach a sign for the Mirador del Cerro Challhuaco. Turn onto the gravel road leading up to the mirador. The drive will take you through beautiful landscapes, and it's advisable to have a vehicle with good clearance.

From the center of Cerro Tronador, take a local bus heading towards Bariloche. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the junction for Route 83 towards 'Cerro Challhuaco.'
