From the summit complex, follow the well-marked trail south for approximately one hour. Alternatively, you can drive up Cerro Otto via Avenida de los Pioneros (km 1), following the road to the summit (free parking). Note that during winter, the road may be closed due to snow. From the parking area, the trail to Piedra de Habsburgo is clearly signposted. There is an entrance fee to Cerro Otto complex even if you hike or drive up.

    From downtown Bariloche, take bus line 50 or 51 along Avenida Pioneros to the base of the Teleférico Cerro Otto (approximately km 5). The bus fare is around ARS 221, payable via SUBE card, which can be purchased and topped up at kiosks in the city center. From the base, take the Teleférico to the summit and follow the walking directions above. Alternatively, you can hike up the road from km 1 of Avenida de los Pioneros, but this is a longer and steeper route. Remember to factor in the cost of the bus and the Teleférico ticket.

    A taxi or remise (radio taxi) from downtown Bariloche to the base of the Teleférico Cerro Otto will cost approximately ARS 3500-5000, depending on traffic and time of day. From there, take the Teleférico to the summit and follow the walking directions. A taxi directly to the summit of Cerro Otto via Avenida de los Pioneros is possible when the road is open (typically not in winter due to snow) and would cost significantly more, around ARS 6000-8000.
