Getting There

    The only way to reach Playa Del Toro is by boat from Puerto Pañuelo. Puerto Pañuelo is located approximately 25 km from Bariloche, near the Llao Llao Hotel. Several tour operators offer excursions to Isla Victoria and the Arrayanes Forest, which typically include a stop at Playa Del Toro. These tours usually last around 6 hours. Typical tour costs range from ARS 112,000 to ARS 130,000 per adult, depending on whether transfers are included. Children's tickets are often available at a reduced price. In addition to the tour cost, there is an entrance fee to Nahuel Huapi National Park (ARS 20,000 for non-residents, ARS 7,000 for Argentinian residents) and a boarding fee of approximately ARS 4,300. These fees are typically payable in cash at Puerto Pañuelo.

    If driving from Bariloche, head southwest on Route 40, then turn left onto Route 231. Follow Route 231 to Puerto Pañuelo. Parking is available at Puerto Pañuelo for a fee. From there, take the boat to Isla Victoria (see Boat guidance). Parking costs vary, but expect to pay around ARS 500-1000 per hour.
