    From downtown Bariloche, take Bus Line 20 towards Colonia Suiza. Get off at Puerto Moreno, at km 10.5 of Av. Bustillo. From there, walk 5 km along the gravel road (Provincial Route 79) towards Colonia Suiza. Tambo Báez will be on your right. A SUBE card is required for the bus. Check the bus schedule beforehand. Bus fare is approximately ARS 50-100.

    From Bariloche, drive along Av. Bustillo (Route 258) to Km 10.5. Turn onto the gravel road (Provincial Route 79) towards Colonia Suiza. Continue for approximately 5 km. Tambo Báez will be on your right. Parking is available at Tambo Báez for a fee of approximately ARS 500-1000 per day. Be aware that the gravel road can be rough.

  • Taxi/Ride-share

The final stretch involves a steep climb, known as "Los Caracoles" (the snails), characterized by switchbacks that lead to the mountain refuge. Alternatively, hikers can take a right towards Cerro Bella Vista for a challenging day hike with panoramic views.
