From the main square (Plaza de los Pioneros) in El Calafate, head southeast on Avenida Libertador towards Avenida San Martín. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida del Libertador. Turn right onto Avenida del Libertador and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. After approximately 15 minutes of walking, you will reach the bus stop for local transport. From there, you can take a local bus heading towards RP11, which will take you closer to the museum.

Once you arrive at the bus stop, look for a bus heading towards the 'Glaciarium' or 'El Calafate - Glaciarium' route. Buses depart regularly, but it’s advisable to check the schedule posted at the bus stop or ask locals for assistance. The bus ride will take around 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to the Glaciarium Patagonian Ice Museum, which is located on RP11. The museum will be a short walk from the bus stop, just follow the directional signs.
