Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from Punta Arenas, Chile. Take Route 9 towards the border crossing into Argentina. After crossing the border, continue on Route 3 towards El Calafate. Follow Route 3 until you reach El Calafate, which is approximately 4 hours from Punta Arenas. Once in El Calafate, head to Av. del Libertador 1215 where Patagonia Extrema is located. Note that this route has tolls and border crossing fees, which can vary.

• Bus

  For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Punta Arenas to El Calafate. Several companies operate this route; the journey takes about 5-6 hours. After arriving at the El Calafate bus station, take a taxi or walk to Av. del Libertador 1215 to reach Patagonia Extrema. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they can vary.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  Once in El Calafate, if you prefer not to walk, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare app to get to Patagonia Extrema at Av. del Libertador 1215. This option is convenient and will typically cost around 500-1000 Argentine Pesos depending on your starting location in El Calafate.

• Walking

  If you're already in El Calafate and prefer to walk, Patagonia Extrema is centrally located. From the El Calafate bus station, it is about a 20-minute walk. Head northeast on Av. del Libertador until you reach your destination at Av. del Libertador 1215.
