From El Chaltén, drive towards the entrance of Los Glaciares National Park. The main road is Route 23, which leads you south towards the park. Once you reach the park entrance, pay the entrance fee, which is approximately ARS 500 per person (prices may vary). Continue on the main road through the park. After about 30 km, look for signs indicating the trailhead to Glaciar Torrecillas. Park your car in the designated area.

After parking, follow the marked trail towards Glaciar Torrecillas. The hike takes approximately 4-5 hours one way, depending on your pace. Ensure to carry enough water and snacks, as there are no facilities along the way. The trail is well-maintained, but be prepared for some steep sections. The final approach to the glacier may require some scrambling over rocky terrain.

If you prefer not to drive, take a bus from El Chaltén to the park entrance. Buses depart several times daily. The fare is around ARS 200-300 one way. Once at the park entrance, you will need to hike the same trail to Glaciar Torrecillas as detailed above.
