Car
From Chaitén, follow the Carretera Austral (Route 7) south for approximately 40 kilometers. The drive takes around 45-60 minutes. The road is paved for the first 15 kilometers, then turns to gravel. Look for signs indicating 'Sendero Cascadas Escondidas'. There is a small parking area at the trailhead. Be aware that the access road can be narrow and winding in sections. No tolls are expected.

Take a bus from Chaitén towards Caleta Gonzalo. Buses typically leave from the Chaitur office. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to Camping Cascadas Escondidas, around 40 kilometers south of Chaitén. From the Carretera Austral, it's a short walk to the trailhead. Bus fares from Chaitén to the trailhead are approximately $5-10 USD. Check the latest bus schedules at the Chaitur office in Chaitén.
