Public Bus
From the city center of La Plata, head to the main bus terminal located at Calle 1 and Avenida 44. Look for bus line 520, which goes towards Buenos Aires. You can purchase a ticket from the kiosk or on board. Once aboard, stay on the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes until you reach the 'Avellaneda' stop. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to the Puente Nicolás Avellaneda. Head northeast on Avenida Mitre, then take a left onto Calle 20, which will lead you directly to the bridge.
Train
Make your way to the La Plata train station located at Calle 1 and Avenida 44. Take the train to Buenos Aires, which usually runs every 30 minutes. The journey will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Buenos Aires train station, exit and take the subway (Subte) Line C towards 'Catedral'. Get off at the 'Lima' station. From there, take bus 86 or 100 towards Avellaneda. Alight at the 'Puente Nicolás Avellaneda' stop, which is right next to the bridge.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of the Plaza Moreno in La Plata, you can enjoy a nice walk to the bus terminal at Calle 1 and Avenida 44 (about 20 minutes). From there, take bus line 520 to Buenos Aires and follow the previous bus directions. Alternatively, you could walk to the bridge from the terminal, which would take about 1 hour but allows you to enjoy the scenic views along the way.

You can also opt for a taxi or a rideshare service like Uber. Simply request a ride from your current location in La Plata to 'Puente Nicolás Avellaneda' in Buenos Aires.
