Car
If you're driving from San Carlos de Bariloche, take the Ruta 40 southbound until you reach the junction with Ruta 23. Turn right onto Ruta 23 and continue for approximately 10 km. Look for a sign indicating Old Volcano Caverns on the right side of the road. The entrance is located at Ruta 23 Km 603 in Dina Huapi. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Old Volcano Caverns using public transportation, take a bus from San Carlos de Bariloche to Dina Huapi. Buses are available from the main terminal and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Dina Huapi, you can either walk (about 30 minutes) or take a taxi to reach Ruta 23 Km 603, where the caverns are located. Ensure you check the bus schedules ahead of time, as they may vary.
Taxi or Ride-Sharing
If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or using a ride-sharing app from Bariloche to Old Volcano Caverns. The trip will take about 20-30 minutes and cost approximately 1000-1500 Argentine Pesos, depending on traffic. Provide the driver with the address: Ruta 23 Km 603, Dina Huapi.
