Over 50% of these birds were rescued from mistreatment and animal trafficking.The park spans 16 hectares of lush Atlantic Forest, providing a natural habitat for its inhabitants. Visitors can explore the park through a 1.5km U-shaped trail that leads through five immersion aviaries, offering close encounters with macaws, toucans, flamingos, and other vibrant species. The park also participates in several species conservation programs, including the Blue-fronted Amazon Parrot Project, Red-browed Amazon Parrot Project and the Birds of Iguaçu Project.Beyond its conservation efforts, Parque das Aves offers unique experiences such as the Backstage Experience and Forest Experience, allowing visitors to delve deeper into the park's work and interact more closely with the birds. The park is also home to reptiles like alligators, anacondas and boa constrictors, as well as a butterfly garden, providing a complete biodiversity experience.
