Walking
If you're starting from the San Rafael city center, walk towards Avenida San Martín and head west. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida 25 de Mayo. Turn left onto Avenida 25 de Mayo and walk for about 10 minutes. Look for the signs indicating the Museo Ferroviario as you approach José Zapata Street. Once you reach José Zapata, turn right, and the museum will be on your left.
Public Bus
From the main bus terminal, catch Bus Line 1 or Line 2, which both head towards the area of José Zapata. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to José Zapata Street. Once you get off, walk a short distance down José Zapata, and the Museo Ferroviario will be on your left.
Taxi or Rideshare
You can easily hail a taxi or use a rideshare app from anywhere in San Rafael. Just tell the driver 'Museo Ferroviario, José Zapata S/N'. The ride should take around 10 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to verify the drop-off point is at the entrance of the museum.
