Getting There

• Driving

  To reach Lobería Punta Norte, start from Puerto Madryn. Head south on Route 3 (Ruta Nacional 3) for about 50 km until the junction with Route 1 (Ruta Provincial 1). Turn onto Route 1 and continue for approximately 60 km. Look for signs directing you toward Estancia Punta Norte, where Lobería Punta Norte is located. The final stretch is on a gravel road leading to the Lobería. Drive carefully on the gravel road. Parking is available near the estancia. Note: Approximately 75 km of the road is unsealed. There is an entrance fee to Península Valdés Natural Reserve, which is between US $10-$30.

From Trelew, take a local taxi or a rideshare service to Estancia Punta Norte, approximately 100 kilometers away. Arrange your taxi in advance, as public transport options may be limited beyond Trelew. The bus fare from Puerto Madryn to Trelew is approximately ARS 500-800. The taxi fare from Trelew to Lobería Punta Norte will range from ARS 4,000-6,000.
