    If you are starting from the Ushuaia city center (Plaza Malvinas), head south on Avenida San Martín towards Avenida Maipú. Turn right onto Avenida Maipú and walk straight for about 1.2 km until you reach the intersection with Avenida Libertador. Continue on Avenida Maipú, and look for signs directing you to the Monumento Antiguos Pobladores. The monument is located in a park area near the waterfront, just past the end of Avenida Maipú. There is no cost for walking.

    From the Ushuaia city center, take bus line A or B from the terminal near Plaza Malvinas. Ride the bus for approximately 10-15 minutes and get off at the stop closest to Avenida Maipú. Ushuaia has three public bus lines: A, B, and C. The service requires a SUBE card. As of 2017, the bus fare was AR$6.80.
