If you are driving from the center of Tigre, head southeast on Avenida Liniers towards Ruta Provincial 27. Continue on Ruta Provincial 27 until you reach the junction with Ruta Nacional 9. Take the exit towards Buenos Aires. Merge onto Avenida General Paz and continue until you reach Avenida Del Libertador. Follow the signs for Palermo and then take Avenida Santa Fe. The Jardín Botánico Carlos Thays is located at C1425 Buenos Aires, near the intersection with Avenida Las Heras. There is usually street parking available, but be prepared to pay for parking, which can range from ARS 25 to ARS 50 per hour, depending on the area.

Public Transportation - Bus
To reach Jardín Botánico Carlos Thays by bus from Tigre, take the Line 60 bus towards Buenos Aires. The bus will take you directly to the city. Get off at the stop closest to Avenida Del Libertador and Avenida Santa Fe. The garden is a short walk from there. The bus fare is approximately ARS 40. Buses run frequently throughout the day.

You can also take the train from Tigre to Retiro Station in Buenos Aires. Board the Mitre Line train heading to Bartolomé Mitre. Once you arrive at Retiro Station, exit and take a short walk to the nearby bus stop. Take the Line 60 bus towards Palermo and get off at the stop near the intersection of Avenida Del Libertador and Avenida Santa Fe. The garden is a short walk from the bus stop. The train ticket costs around ARS 25, and the bus fare is an additional ARS 40.
