Getting There

• Public Bus

  From the center of Ushuaia, head to the main bus terminal located at Av. Maipú 700. Look for buses heading towards RN3. The bus number you need is 'B' or 'C', which regularly runs to the area near Park Austral. The fare is approximately ARS 100. Inform the driver that you are going to Park Austral. The bus will take about 30 minutes to reach the vicinity of Park Austral. Once you get off, you will need to walk about 10 minutes to reach the entrance, following the signs that direct you towards the park.

• Taxi or Ride-sharing

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing app like Cabify or Uber from anywhere in Ushuaia. Simply input 'Park Austral' or give the address 'RN3 3022, Tierra del Fuego' to the driver. The trip will take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The fare may vary, but expect to pay approximately ARS 500-700.

• Walking

  If you are staying in a hotel or hostel in the city center and are feeling adventurous, you can walk to Park Austral. Start by heading to Av. San Martin and walk towards the west. Continue on Av. San Martin until you reach Av. Maipú, then turn right. Follow Av. Maipú until you reach the junction with RN3. Once you are on RN3, continue walking for about 2.5 kilometers. The walk will take you roughly 40-50 minutes, and it’s a beautiful way to see the surrounding landscape.
