Getting There

  • Car

    Start from the center of Villa La Angostura. Head south on Av. San Martín and take a left onto C. 12 de Octubre. Continue for about 1.5 km until you reach the junction with Route 40. Turn right onto Route 40 and follow the signs towards San Martín de los Andes. After approximately 6 km, look for the sign for 'Cascada Inacayal' on your left. Turn onto C. Sendero a la Cascada, where you will find a parking area near the trailhead. Parking is usually free, but check for any local parking regulations.

  • Public Transportation

    From the center of Villa La Angostura, you can take a local bus towards San Martín de los Andes. Look for the bus terminal on Av. San Martín, where you can buy a ticket. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Cascada Inacayal stop (make sure to ask which stop this is, as it may vary). The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. After disembarking, walk back along Route 40 for about 200 meters until you see the entrance to C. Sendero a la Cascada on your left.     If you prefer to walk and are staying close to the center of Villa La Angostura, you can walk to Cascada Inacayal. Start on Av. San Martín, then take C. 12 de Octubre. Once you reach the junction with Route 40, follow the directions as mentioned above to reach the entrance.
