Rincon Mountain Visitor Center: Gateway to Saguaro East

Getting There

• Car

  From downtown Tucson, take East Broadway or East Speedway Boulevard. Turn right onto Freeman Road and drive south for 3 miles. Turn left onto Old Spanish Trail; the park entrance is 0.25 miles on the left. Entrance fees are required to enter the park. A private vehicle pass costs $25.00, a motorcycle pass is $20.00, and an individual pass is $15.00. These passes are valid for 7 days and include access to both the Rincon Mountain District (East) and the Tucson Mountain District (West). Credit or debit cards are accepted.

• Public Transport

  From Tucson, take Sun Tran Bus Route 4 towards 'Pueblo Gardens'. Transfer to Bus Route 25 at the nearest stop and continue to the stop closest to the Rincon Mountain Visitor Center. From the bus stop, there may be some walking required to reach the visitor center. Check local schedules for exact timings and potential transfer points. Bus fares typically cost around $1.75 per ride. After arriving at the park boundary, there is no public transportation available to get to the visitor center.

• Bicycle

  From various points in Tucson, ride south on S Old Spanish Trail. The road is bike-friendly, but be cautious of traffic. Bike racks are available at the visitor center. Entrance fees are required to enter the park. An individual pass costs $15.00. This pass is valid for 7 days and includes access to both the Rincon Mountain District (East) and the Tucson Mountain District (West). Credit or debit cards are accepted.
