Shuttle Bus
To reach Yaki Point, take the free Kaibab Rim Route (Orange Route) shuttle from the Grand Canyon Visitor Center. This is the only way to access Yaki Point, as private vehicles are not permitted. The shuttle operates from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset, with buses running every 15 minutes during peak hours and every 30 minutes during early morning hours. The ride is approximately 9 minutes. There is no cost for the shuttle.

Walking
Alternatively, you can walk to Yaki Point via Desert View Drive. From the Grand Canyon Visitor Center, it's approximately 2.5 miles to Yaki Point Road. Then walk 1.5 miles along Yaki Point Road to the viewpoint. There are dedicated picnic areas near where Yaki Point Road shoots off from Desert View Drive. There is no fee to walk.
