Car
If you are traveling by car within Kaibab National Forest, start on AZ-64 from your current location. Follow AZ-64 South towards Grand Canyon Village. Once you reach the intersection with Desert View Drive (also known as East Rim Drive), turn left onto Desert View Drive. Continue on Desert View Drive for approximately 23 miles. Lipan Point will be on your right, marked with signage. There is no entrance fee for this viewpoint, but be mindful that some areas of the Grand Canyon National Park may have fees for parking.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take the Grand Canyon Shuttle from Grand Canyon Village. The shuttle operates seasonally, so check the schedule ahead of your visit. Board the shuttle heading towards the East Rim, and ask the driver to let you off at Lipan Point. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to have a valid ticket, which costs around $15 for a day pass. Be aware that the shuttle service may have limited hours of operation.

For those adventurous enough to bike or hike, there are trails leading to Lipan Point from various locations in the Grand Canyon area. From Grand Canyon Village, you can take the Rim Trail along the South Rim. Note that biking is allowed on paved roads and designated trails. Ensure you have a map and enough supplies. If hiking, pack sufficient water and snacks, as it is about 23 miles from the village to Lipan Point. There are no fees for biking or hiking, but ensure to check trail conditions before you set out.
