Getting There

• Bicycle

  Begin your journey at the Lake Havasu City Visitor Center located at 314 London Bridge Rd. Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops nearby. From the Visitor Center, head south on London Bridge Rd until you reach the traffic circle. Continue straight through the circle onto State Route 95. Follow State Route 95 for approximately 15 miles. As you approach Topock, look for signs directing you to the Hum-Me-Chomp Petroglyphs. Park your bicycle at the designated area nearby and follow the marked trails to reach the petroglyphs.

• Walking

  Start at the London Bridge in Lake Havasu City. From there, walk south along the bridge and continue onto McCulloch Blvd. Head south until you reach the intersection with State Route 95. At this point, you will need to take a bus or a rideshare service to cover the distance to Topock. Upon reaching Topock, you can ask locals for directions to the Hum-Me-Chomp Petroglyphs, which are located nearby. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes for walking on the trails.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  Make your way to the nearest bus stop on McCulloch Blvd, near the London Bridge. Take the Route 1 bus towards Topock. It’s important to check the current bus schedule since routes may vary. Get off at the Topock stop. From there, you can either walk or take a rideshare service to the Hum-Me-Chomp Petroglyphs. The petroglyphs are a short distance from the bus stop, so be prepared for a short hike once you arrive in Topock.
