Walking
If you are already in Downtown Mesa, the Mesa Arts Center is easily reachable on foot. Start by heading towards Main Street, which is a central thoroughfare in Downtown Mesa. If you are near the Mesa Convention Center, walk east on Main Street for about 5-10 minutes. The Mesa Arts Center is located at 1 E Main St, and you will see the striking architecture of the center just ahead. Look out for the large outdoor art installations that often adorn the area, making it a pleasant walk.
Bicycle Rental
For a more active approach, consider renting a bicycle. There are several bike rental stations in Downtown Mesa. Look for a bike rental kiosk near the Mesa Public Library or along Main Street. After acquiring a bike, head east on Main Street. The ride to the Mesa Arts Center is short, taking about 5 minutes. You can lock your bike at the designated bike racks located at the center.
Public Transit (Bus)
If you prefer using public transport, check the Valley Metro bus schedule. Routes that service Downtown Mesa include the 61 and the 136. Board the bus at the nearest stop to your location in Downtown and request a stop at Main Street and Center Street. From there, it is a short walk east along Main Street to the Mesa Arts Center. Be sure to check the current fare rates on the Valley Metro website or via their app, as these can vary.
