To reach Camelback Mountain from downtown Phoenix, take the Valley Metro Bus Route 50. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop on Central Avenue. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Camelback Rd & 24th St. From there, walk east on Camelback Rd for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance to Camelback Mountain. The trailhead will be on your left.

If you are near the Light Rail, take the light rail towards the 19th Ave/Dunlap station. Get off at the Central Ave/Camelback station. From the light rail station, walk north on Central Ave until you reach Camelback Rd. Turn right on Camelback Rd and walk for about 0.5 miles; you'll find the entrance to Camelback Mountain on your left.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in downtown Phoenix. Head east on Thomas Rd until you reach 24th St. Turn left onto 24th St and continue south until you reach Camelback Rd.
